The accountable executive will normally be the senior executive of the airport and will have some knowledge of the airport's technical operations. The accountable executive may also be the person who is: the person designated by the organization as having final authority for airside operations at the airport; or the person who is signatory to the airport operations manual; or the person having responsibility for both the airport operations manual and airside operations.
